Yardies Jerk in Saint Albans is an absolute gem for anyone who loves authentic Caribbean flavors. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly grilled jerk chicken fills the air and sets the perfect tone for a delicious meal. The food is bursting with bold spices and rich flavors that taste just like they’re straight from Jamaica. Every dish is cooked to perfection, whether it’s the tender jerk chicken, perfectly seasoned rice and peas, or the flavorful curry goat.

The young lady at the counter was very sweet and accommodating. Food from here was just what my life needed in that moment. We ordered the Jerk pork, Oxtail with rice and peas, cabbage and mac n cheese. Caribbean flavor through and through. I also purchased the bun and cheese. So fragrant and delicious as well.

Oxtail with Mac and cheese is great but stick with the small size, not sure if the "large" size is really worth it. Pickup section is to the left. Be patient, it is slow but worth the wait. Have your order info ready besides just your name. Their soup is great too but it's not always available. Jerk chicken is not spicy or anything so I avoid it.

I heard great things about this place. I ordered thru grubhub. Unfortunately i was missing the carrot cake, and wasn’t able to try it. Now i dont know if thats the mistake of the person delivering or the staff at Yardies. However I did receive my other food and it was so dayamm delicious. It blew my mind, of how the meet fell off the bone and taste was unbelievable. The rice and peas complimented the taste, staff gave me many gravy. The mac n cheese can be better but it was still good. The staff was nice enough to add two plantains in my order because I was unable to order it thru grubhub, but I requested it, and they were nice enough to provide me some. Thank you ! The beef patties was very juicy and filling appetizer tbh. Im definitely going back, this time I am getting the carrot cake for sure.

The food is on point I just wish that the credit minimum was a little bit lower cause not everyone walks around with cash, other than you’ll have may be one sometimes two servers so the line can be alittle long but I understand. but overall it’s worth it I like that they have a new computer menu that you can place your order from but I must say the jerk chick pieces breast is super on point and as always the festival and rice and peas 10/08/25

It was late night and I was hungry for something light. I was glad they still had soup. Usually on a weekend the soul finishes fast. I ordered a chicken soup with festival. I usually like my soup broth thicker, but it was still delicious. The festival was soft and hot. It’s been a long time that I enjoyed a good festival and this hit!!
